Pembrokeshire u3a is part of a wider UK network of independent, locally-run organisations dedicated to lifelong learning. The national body, the Third Age Trust, provides guidance and support to u3a groups across the country.
Since its establishment in 1990, Pembrokeshire u3a has flourished, now boasting over 420 members. It offers a welcoming environment where people can continue learning for enjoyment. Whether you're interested in expanding your knowledge, developing new skills, engaging in creative activities, or connecting with like-minded individuals, u3a provides the perfect opportunity.
Members come together in two main ways: a monthly lecture series featuring a diverse and engaging range of topics, and small interest groups where members share their expertise and learn from one another.
There are no exams, assessments, or formal tests—just learning for the sheer pleasure of it!
Take a look at our Interest Groups to see what’s currently available. If you have a passion for a subject that isn't yet covered, new groups are always encouraged—chances are, others will be interested too. At u3a, we believe in learning together and supporting one another, making the experience enjoyable for all.
With over 1,000 u3a groups across the UK, it's clear this approach works!
