Terms and conditions of membership
1. Abide by the principles of the U3A movement.

3. Always treat fellow members with respect and courtesy.
4. Comply with and support of the decisions of the elected committee.
5. Advise the membership secretary of any change of circumstances as soon as possible.
6. Always act in the best interest of the U3A and never do anything to bring the U3A into disrepute.
Privacy statement
1. Your information will be stored on a secure database for membership purposes.
2. It will be used to communicate with you for membership purposes.
3. Shared with group leaders of the groups you belong to.
4. I consent to be added to the direct mail link list for the third age trust magazine and also the company who oversee the distribution of the magazines.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid forms will be made out for each annual payment with membership renewal. If you are willing to Gift Aid the amount paid, please will you read and Consent on the Renewal form. Couples who wish to claim half each should both sign.
I will confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of income tax and/ or Capital Gains tax for the tax year (6th April to 5th April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I/We understand that I am/We are responsible for any difference. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand that U3A will reclaim 25p on every £1 that I give.
